Brimham Rocks

Just before lockdown, our Hal turned 2 years old, so to celebrate we took him on an adventure day out to Brimham Rocks! Another National Trust site that was closed due to Covid - and unfortunately still is for the moment. Car park is free to members but will cost a few quid if you are not.

Brimham Rocks is a fab place for dogs, kids and adults! The centre has lots of tall, climbable rocks but there are quieter areas to sit and eat a picnic, snap a photo or take in the views. Some of the rocks have formed impressive balancing structures and some of the rocks are just enormous. Hal's mountain dog side came out and he was climbing much faster than us! It is sensible to keep your pup on a lead incase they run or climb too far out of reach! Take advantage of the views and heights of rocks to get some amazing photos of your dog - we re-enacted the beginning of The Lion King!

There is also a small takeaway cafe with a range of drinks, toilets nearby and usually an ice-cream van in the car park for a treat. You can make your climbs and walks as long or as quick as you want!
Definitely worth a dog friendly and child friendly visit if you are nearby.
